The holidays are so magical when there are little ones. I love how excited they are, and how you can experience it all through their eyes.
We went to "Candy Rhonda's" house for a get together. After we stopped by we walked around her and Uncle B's neighborhood. They go ALL out! The boys loved the lights and music...it was crazy!
Having some Grinch Juice (lime sherbert and sprite) a couple days before Christmas. Charlie liked it, but Benny said it was too spicy :)
Christmas Eve
The boys could hardly stand it! So we let them each open a gift from eachother. Charlie picked out his present from his preschool. They had a store (gently used items us parents donated) and the kids earned coins and had to buy everyone in their house/immediate family a present. He got Benny a tool bench. Unfortunately the batteries from the previous owner had leaked and so it wouldn't make any of its sounds, but they both liked it. Charlie got me a black baseball hat with a wine class that says in jewels, "Time out" (which is pretty funny because 1) we don't drink any alcohol and 2)I rarely wear baseball hats. The kicker was that he got Dave hand lotion. HA! This is hilarious because Dave can't stand lotion on his hands! Charlie was very proud of himself for getting us these things and it really was the thought that counts!
Playing a little music and getting a little trombone lesson! I love these pics
Here they are before they go to bed!
They helped getting everything ready for Santa
We had quite a few guests this Christmas so we made sure Santa had stockings to fill. Gam-Gam and Papa, Poppy, Dave, Me, Charlie, Ben, Aunt Kate, and Uncle Ryan
Christmas Day!!!
Santa came and he was very generous!
Charlie got his spider-man costume, a soccer ball and a basketball
Everyone else opening their stockings
Benny got a batman costume, a soccer ball, and a basketball.
Love this one!
Ben LOVES Pooh bear and Aunt Kate got him his own. It is a favorite of both the boys.
Big hugs for Aunt Kate!
Poppy!
Thanks Grandpops and Grandmops for the chocolate...we all have enjoyed it! :)
Dave received a melodica from Uncle Ryan and Charlie has the rocket launcher
It's looking a little more like Christmas morning in the great room.
Gams, Papa, and Poppy opening presents
Gam's is packing heat.
I made cinnamon rolls shaped like a Christmas tree and I also made cinnamon rolls topped with apple pie filling. Both were pretty tasty :)
