December 2015 Part 1

All 3 boys all snuggled up in my bed watching a Christmas movie.

Every year Intel offers a family fun Christmas day.  We've been one other time and the boys had a great time!
 Snowman Ben
 Snowman True

Charlie with a picture of his lego set he's asking for and Santa
Ben and a picture of his lego set he's asking for and Santa
True and a picture of the Mickey Mouse backpack he's asking for and Santa
 They are getting so big!

Charlie, Carl, and Ben - they are manly men.

Holiday Party:
Dave and Brett doing their thing
Charlie performing...he did great!  So proud of him!

Charlie reading to the boys at bedtime!  Love this!!!

Charlie had a Winter Performance this year.  He had one at school and that night they got to perform at our local Zoo with it all decorated up for Christmas.

True and Ben checking out the Bear right next to where they performed first.

It was so pretty with all the trees lit up in the background.  The wolves in the cage next to them were howling along.

Brother shot!  I completely forgot True's jacket, but fortunately Charlie's leather jacket was in the car so he wore it...he thought he was big stuff!

Christmas Eve Festivities:
They were dying to open brother gifts.  I've had all their other gifts wrapped for weeks because I was worried they would find them.  So they've been so excited to open up something.
We took them to the dollar store and they each picked out a gift for their brothers.  It is great seeing what they picked out!

 Everyone was happy!

Then we made cookies and decorated them.

 Charlie's cookies
 Benny's cookies
Yumminess including Dave's homemade caramels and chocolate covered caramels.
Santa's cookies and milk and the reindeer's carrots are in place...they are so excited!

Christmas Day:  I videoed them seeing their Santa presents and they were impressed that Santa got it all right!  That's why you always bring a picture when you see him ;)

The boys got new sleeping bags and their own snuggly blankets (I'm done with the baby blankets),
remote control cars (they lasted 1 week before busting...major bust from Kohls),
 clothes,
 cars,

 a little Mickey Smart Pad,

flying batman,...the kids were so cute!
I got Dave a magnetic sign for the dishwasher to let him know when it was dirty or clean to solve the constant question.  He was genuinely very happy and excited for this gift!  That's love right there!!!

Look at that happy face...it's the little things.

He also got a Hodad mini amp from Uncle Ryan.

Santa surprised me with 2 new light fixtures I had picked out for the guest bath...score!  Santa is the best!

Christmas breakfast: Homemade dutch babies with fresh drizzled lemon juice, powdered sugar and berries.  It was delish and a good, fast, easy breakfast.

Then we loaded everybody up and we were out the door by 8:30 and headed to the snow for a true white Christmas.
You can't see True, but he's behind me in the carseat.

We made it!  True a.k.a. Randy from Christmas Story.

So happy to be in the snow!

There was a ton of it too!

True licking the snow off his jacket collar.
 Sledding!

Charlie, Ben, Dave and True...my favorite guys!

 Daddy and True sledding

 There they go!
Charlie said he needed to take a picture of me since there wasn't one of me in the snow.  Sweet boy!  We had a blast!
