An Afternoon with the Brown's

The Brown's at church own a few cows, dogs and cats. They invited us up for lunch after worship services sunday morning. We had a blast and captured some really great moments!!!

These cows were right outside their house in one of the pastures they have. Charlie was mooing all the way over until we went inside the gate, then he wanted nothing to do with them. This was as close as I could get him. The main reason we came up is because the cow on the right just had a calf (Sir Loin) a couple of weeks ago. Charlie kept pointing at the calf and saying, "baby, baby."

Here is Dave the "dog whisperer". Charlie LOVED all the dogs...from a distance. He was just as excited about seeing the dogs and cat as he was the cow :)

Here is Charlie and Dave taking the riding lawn mower for ride. Charle could not have been in more shock. He loves anything that resembles a tractor and this really made an impression.

After all that mowing Charlie was looking for what was next to do. Love this picture! He's on a mission :)

"....Hmmm let's see, I know I saw him put that tractor in here...if I could just open this door...."

First Lesson Mowing the Lawn (20 Months)

Observing Daddy mow part of the lawn.

Daddy giving his first lesson

Trying to be brave and hold on even though it is really loud

And they're off, he helped Dave mow the rest of the grass.

He's clapping and saying, "yay!" Little does he know that in about ten years he'll GET to mow the lawn a couple times a month. I wonder if he'll be as excited then as he is now? : )

Easter Outfit Teaser (19 Months)

Well, I am so excited this year for Easter because Charlie and Dave will be totally matchy-matchy. Dave has a navy blue pin striped suit and I found this three piece suit for Charlie at JC Penny. They are going to look so cute. I'm sure we'll take more pictures on Easter and I'll be sure to post them.
