Our last saturday we not only went to the zoo, but we also flew a kite. The annual kite festival was happening on Sunday and since we couldn't go, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful, windy day by flying a kite.
We've flown our kite (we bought it at Sam's Club here) a couple of times since being in Texas and the parrot was a good choice. It flies high!

The boys have been so good throughout this whole adventure. I managed to talk Dave into letting the boys build a "bear" to remember Texas by. Charlie picked a dog and named him "gallop" and Ben picked a Texas long horn cow and we named him "moo."

A GREAT way to end our last Saturday in Austin.
